Never Have I

October 3, 2007

Never have I ever known the lovebird's song
Nor moonbeams' sweet, tender kiss
Never have I ever felt a feeling so strong
As my effervescent, undulating bliss
Never have I wanted to dance in the rain
And smile for no reason in sight
And would I ever have thought that my desperate pain
Could be solaced in the course of one night
For it is you, my love- my darling, my dear-
That have made all of these things come true
And never would I ever in a million years
Guess the piece that was missing is you
