The bitter taste comes once again
I welcome the feelings of regret
What would have happened if I said yes
And spilled everything that had
Built up over the summer
Would you have understood
And stroked my hear
As I cried
Or would you have reacted
Just like everyone else
Would you have listened
To me sob and scream
And let me tell you
How much I miss him
And that I would do anything to get him back?
I knew you would have been different
Yet I still can’t let go
And tell you how much it hurts
