MY Board
Gliding down the hill,
Swiftly looking through the trees as my body maneuvers,
This is for the joy of riding,
But when the competition hits
Its business from there on out.
Nobody else sees what I do,
all the tears of joy, pain, and victory,
the travel time, the money,
Nobody else sees the passion,
The dedication and effort,
Nobody else sees my life’s work
When we set eyes on my board.
Every ding and scratch,
Its own story,
All 153 inches dug deep into my life,
The dedication seen by my sponsors,
Capita, Union, and Cole,
Provided with me MY board,
The outdoor living,
It was free, but to me
It is priceless.
Utah and back,
Colorado and back,
Pennsylvania and back,
It has been with me every step of the journey,
The journey to my destiny
Of a professional snowboarder.
