Blood, gushing through young veins
Peaking through pale skin
Eyes flash red with anger
Flicker like fire
Desire burning deep from within
Passion, frustration, love.
All screaming from the flesh
The feeling of helplessness becomes overwhelming
Lips the color of apples caress
Attempt to soothe, but there's no blue here.
Only red remains.
Red, the color of blood.
The feeling of sweet, twisted anger.

This is a poem I wrote in my creative writing class, we had to write about one color, and what we portrayed it as, my color, was red.
