Caught Dead With Him
I wouldn’t be caught dead with him
With his blonde hair perfectly in place.
And his smile that brightens up a room that is dim.
Especially not his perfectly sculpted face.
There is no way that he would even be near me
Considering everything I am.
I’m always trying to be something I can’t be
And acting like I never give a damn.
I don’t deserve his seemingly perfect self
Because I’m nothing but a liar.
He can always seem to be himself
While I trip on every insult like a wire.
He deserves a girl who is better.
Someone who will give him the entire earth.
Call me annoying or call me bitter
But him being happy is all it’s worth.
