A word is dead when it is said, some say. I say it just begins to live that day.
- Emily Dickinson

By the fireplace I ponder,
Of tomorrow and of yonder,
My thoughts which surely wander,
Of the angel at my door,
The name that soon escapes me,
The named whispered by thee,
The name, I cannot implore,
And shall winter break the morrow,
They'll color the skies to hollow,
And drops will surely follow,
The angel at my door

My insperation for this peom was my greatest love, whom inspires many of my other writing. My hope is to inspire young adults, like myself, to push themselves and publish their own work as well.
