Invisible within the crowds
But I don’t hide myself in shrouds
Simply peak between the folds
For I’m afraid of what darkness holds

They don’t see me, among the group
I’m hidden here, within the loop
Whenever I please, I come and go
The best part is, they’ll never know

I don’t need the shadows to disappear
Things lie in the dark that I don’t want to go near
Dangerous things that you can’t escape from
You can't ever leave once you’ve come

So wear a hood, not a mask when you hide
Masks imply darkness, don’t get caught in that tide
Hoods reveal all, without showing a thing
The only way to walk within the center ring
