Beauty and the Beast
I am a beauty writing of her beast
I am anorexic writing of her feast
I am a girl living a forbidden life
I am a artist expressing her strife
I am teenager expressing her grief
I am person living in disbelief
Living a life and learning to rebel
Trying my best not to let my life go to hell
Doing something wrong
But it feeling so right
That's how the beauty feels with her beast tonight

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem because it was pent up emotion. It is meant to be seen as the feeling of rebellion, like being something your not supposed to be and how freeing it is. I would know, i am growing up in a privilaged life of country clubs were you wear polos and always smile, its not my choice of life style. This is about a girl like me who meets a boy who she shouldn't be with, but when she is, she feels rebelious and feels like breaking out of her shell and breaking the rules. I hope you like it and let me know!
