The author's comments:

This poem is aimed to describe and show to readers what crying is. I used this poem to make a point about how crying doesn't always have to be depressing. I showed crying and tears as hope for happy days, and wishing for better times. This short poem is cinquain. It is made up of one stanza, with five lines each.
