Mrs. Troxel
There’s only a few people like you
Smart, talented, and kind
You’re one of the lucky few
We’re glad you were our teacher.
Thanks for being there
To teach us all we need to know
We knew that you cared
Thanks for teaching us.
You can sing and dance well
You taught all us kids
Man o man were you swell
Thanks for teaching us how to dance.
You laid down the law
But in a nice way
We knew that you saw
The good in us.
You taught us how to impress a crowd
In such a nice manner
We tried not to be loud
Thanks for teaching us to be mannerful.
You’re such a great teacher
We’ll miss you so much
But you’ll be gone now
And you won’t be there to be our crutch.
I know that it’s hard
We know that you care
Please come and visit us
And we’ll share:
The good that you’ve done us
The smarts that you’ve taught
The manners a plenty
The skills that we caught.
We’ll miss you so much
Wish you didn’t have to go
Thanks for everything
We hope that you know--
You changed our lives and
we’ll miss you Mrs.Troxel!
