“Jesus loves me, this I know,”

in my heart,

in my soul,

in my mind,

I have a goal:


love as He has loved.
“For the Bible tells me so.”

“Little ones to Him belong,”

if we trust Him

it shan’t be long

before we break out

in a praising song.


For by Him we are beloved.
“They are weak, but He is strong.”

“Yes, Jesus loves me,”

and I feel

like going crazy,

‘cuz I’m crazy in love

with Jesus you see


in my heart, I have been shoved.
“Yes, Jesus loves me.”

“Yes, Jesus loves me,
For the Bible tells me so.”

And now I’m gonna do

I’m gonna go,

right where Jesus says,

and I’m gonna let Him grow

in me and the world

so that they may see

that they’re down and low.
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come!
Thy will be done!
On earth as it is in heaven!”

It just isn’t the same

knowing Jesus lives

and not a soul does he shun!

He healed the lame,

fed thousands with a bun,

calmed down a storm

even took human form!

All because,
“Jesus loves me, this I know,
For the Bible tells me so.”
