Girl with the Broken Smile
Over there, I see the girl with hate in her eyes but love in her smile.
She tries to hide away the pain with a gentle touch but her pain is longer than 8 miles.
When she smiles, she puts up an effort not to break down and cry, over the time and years its almost close to that time.
She looks at me dead in the eyes, without saying a word, I try to make what’s happening out, but it’s all a blur.
Her eyes started to catch on fire, and she started to cry, for the pain was way too much, them I knew it was that time.
But through all this she did not move, them she said to me in a calm voice, I have nothing to lose.
I tried giving my hand to her, but it didn’t go far.
For a mirror was in front of me, and it fell apart.
I screamed where was she, where are you, and then I noticed
She was my reflection and she fell apart to.
O took out a mirror near the Nile.
And I was the girl with a broken smile.
