This is to my shoe, the one that is new
I love you so so so so very much
Even though I tripped in a puddle, yuck!
And so you would not smell like stinky old poo
I cleaned you to death and all the way through
Now you are on my feet, never coming off, stuck
Now I’m blushing, and also saying shucks
All because I’m with you, my love, my shoe

Marked on the calendar, the day, it came
I untied you and took you off my feet
And set you aside for another shoe
I had to switch you, because of my game
I knew I had to replace you with cleats
And when people ask of you I say who?

I was forced to do this in summer school because all my teachers in regular school were horrible and they failed me so here you go
