After Goodbye
I feel like a beach without an ocean,
Or a songbird with no voice.
I want to forget you,
But it seems I have no choice.
The clouds make me think of you,
And the grass has me longing for your touch.
It seems foolish, but it's true.
How is it possible to miss someone this much?
Your eyes were deep,
And your words sincere.
I wish I could run to you,
But you are not here.
