Peaceful Slumber

July 29, 2008
By Kristi Esposito, Irmo, SC

A peaceful slumber,
Yells my name.
It whispers,
And it calls.

It shouts,
It screams.
It tells me nothing,
Not a hint at all.

As it becons,
I walk foward.
Into it's teeth,
And maw.

While I wander,
I run,
I trip,
I fall.

Into a peaceful slumber.
Waking only,
When Winter calls.
