Death
Death
It was the best of times, it was the worst,
You breathed, you choked,
Your face glowed with health, your lips turned blue,
It was a beautiful day, then the storms came,
You loved stormy nights, you died on one,
Your body aged, your corpse decayed,
You had friends in life, you had friends in death,
You visited the graveyard, and now I visit you,
My good days, my bad days
I think of you, hoping you’re thinking of me.
