A blind girl stood at a ledge
Wondering how far away she was from the edge
One, Two, Three steps she took
Dare she take more?
Or would the end be in store?
Should she remain safe?
And refrain from the chase?
Except.
Except what kind of life did she have
if she was too afraid to live
for fear of death?
Four, Five-
The sixth step took her
