The author's comments:

I find this poem to be quite funny for something as simple as paper. In class, my friend was joking about how he could write a poem about apples, and I thought, "Why not my piece of paper that I am writing on right now?" I intentionally wrote the beginning to elicit more of a bullying situation (figuratively speaking) only to later reveal I meant it word for word... literally!
