Complex Ideas
The philosophers thought
spoke and pleaded
"Think for yourself"
"Examine your life"
"Find whats good."
"Love your wife."
Their Passions were eminent.
Their wisdom priceless.
Their thoughts unnoticed.
The philosophers desperate.
They were praised
and upheld
then condemned
and repelled
In their final gasp
they fought for words
"die with questions
and the tables will turn."
