TV blaring on,
we sit on the couch,
bodies stiff,
Nervous.
Oblivious to the voices
"Oh, John, I love you so!"
It spoke, a soap opera.
His hand grasped mine,
the other a remote.
Click, said the TV
Hello, said his eyes,
as they penetrated mine
pupils dilated
Man, I like him so much,
Whoosh, heat rushed to my face,
Bright red, ears warm.
Smile,
God, I'm hot. (hands caress my cheekbones)
He smiles
Eyes close, waiting, waiting
come on, I can't take it.
Lips touch
Softly.
First Kiss.

Great emotion. You described it so well! So hard to put into words, but you did it. Perfect, just like the first kiss. :) Would you read my poem titled the Magic of Love? I would love your take on it.

Nice description. I felt like I was there...even though that would be kinda awkward. lol Keep up the good poems!
