Is it how it sounds,
What it means?
What’s In A Poem?
Romance and beauty,
Or heartbreak and pain?
What’s In A Poem?
Something sweet,
Or something sour?
What’s In A Poem?
Does it have to rhyme,
Or can it be a story?
What’s In A Poem?
Once you read,
Between the lines?
What’s In A Poem?
Once you realize,
The true meaning?
A story of heartbreak,
And sorrow,
That never ends?
A story of loss,
And people,
That you’ll never forget?
Or maybe,
A story about yourself,
One that only you know.
