Whatever's severed is useful

Lack of rest, lack of purpose, lack of poise
I only add to the mess
and cringe at the noise
that stirs in my insides
and never seems to find
its way to the top
All is forgotten
but not lost
Let the anguish
surface through tears;
that feeling that comes with
internal warfare, self realization...the truth = devastation
Sometimes you just gotta let us cry like the babies we are.
