Overwhelming Standstill
As the winter winds blow
And my heart fills with snow
The damper of guilt starts to dull
For the chill of the cold
Coming slowly then bold
Consumes my soul in the hull
And when guessing the sum
My emotions fade numb
Until I feel nothing at all
But with mind in a daze
With my life in a haze
Feeling nothing is better than the fall
