You’re trying to bring me down
But it ain’t working you see.
Say what you want to say,
It ain’t bringing me down.
Call me fat, ugly
Whatever you want.
Your words make me laugh,
Instead of making me cry.
Keep trying to put me down,
Keep calling me whatever you want,
But I promise you
It ain’t bothering me.
You’re trying to make me weak,
But instead you’re making me stronger.
So keep calling me names,
Keep trying to put me down,
Trust me, it ain’t working.
