Winged Feet

I once knew this boy
With wings on his feet
Because he was in my life
Until I let him free
He had dark, rich hair
And shaded honey eyes
Cherry freckled cheeks
And he never asked me why
He always stayed calm
Always stayed quiet
When I let my fantasies go
He didn't mind the slightest
I'll meet him again
Or someone similar instead
Who outlines my body
And isn't just in my head
