What a Crazy Night

The party got too loud too fast
I knew it would not end well, what a crazy night

The drinks splashed to the ground as a fist pounded at the door
The ensuing panic was disorienting, what a crazy night

The back do was the only option, so we ran
Flashlights could be seen sweeping the back fence, what a crazy night

In the commotion friends were lost to the enemy
Their belligerent protest were ignored as the cuffs went on, what a crazy night

Over the fence, through the neighbors pool, chased by a dog
Still the enemy was on my tail, what a crazy night

The close escape was exhilarating as I circled back to my car hours later
Cat and mouse with the cops, what a crazy night

Hey, I wanted to use your poem for a paper I have to write in my AP Lit. class... I need a little background info on the author (you) though. If you wouldn't mind chatting with me about this poem I'd love to get your email address or facebook or something. Thanks!
