Ice Dreamer

Air so dry and cold
It catches in your lungs,
It cools the face of sweat
And gives away a sense of power.
Fly through the cool air
Feet barely touch
Blades moving in a blurr
Breath in short supply.
Break away the bars
That hold your imprisoned soul,
To set it free
To skate the far artic ice.
No boundries shall hold you back
No destinations shall hold you down,
Only ice shall be yours;
Fly free across the maps
As a dreamer of ice.
