Favorite Quote:
"My name is Legion: for we are many."
--New Testament (Gospel of Mark, 5:9)

In his image are we,
Which begs the question, are thee he?
Are we pieces of his mind set free?
Is this all that ever be?
Too many are these thoughts I see…
Perhaps our race unearthed as collective,
Be of god’s unconscious selective.
Perhaps god are we,
Perhaps we create there for we be.
Perhaps in a sea of “we”,
I live there for I be.

I came up with piece when my thoughts started to dwell upon the verse from the bible that states, "we are created in his image...". My mind started to wander and debate the theology. Wondering if perhaps we were created in his image, because we are his image. That we are all pieces of his essence, our ability to create, to destroy (this and the latter representative of his nature), to propagate our race (representative of gods infinity). It all seemed like it fit, that we were a mirror image of Christianity. A final and further analysis maybe for a later poem could be of our dual nature of good and evil beings. Of how we breed evil out of necessity, as God created the Devil we create our own evil.
