You were right.
All those kids down there
Their skin is really tight.
You can see their ribs mom.
It makes me want to cry.
I don’t know what to say to them
I think they are gonna die.
How can I reassure them mom?
If I can’t even look them in the eyes?
This isn’t right mom
They all want to survive.
I want them to survive.
Please help me mom
Just think of how it would feel
If I was that one
Just think of them as your own Mom.
And help them like I have wanted to for so long.

This poem is about the children in Africa that are sick, thin, and very poor. If you could, can you go on Everytime you get a word right, a bag of rice is donated to the families of Africa. Thanks!

i love this poem because it displays my very feelings. it brings me to tears that there are people who don't have anything to eat and barely any shelter while we have food, and houses to go to when we need heat or to get out of the rain. i will go to that website just because you said so! thanks
