LEAVES
When I look at the trees, I realize that one day, I will leave this earth
the leaves fall every autumn, and turn red and orange.
They will return though, as bright green leaves, hanging onto the branches of which they grew upon.
They will live, die, and live again, and die again. They repeat life.
Me on the other hand, will not go through the cycle of life more than once.
I shall fall and not grow back.
I will age with time, and become old.
My memory will fade, and my heart will stop.
But that is life, and that is alright with me.
