Hear soft beats, a pounding that never left. Soft and calming
Its warmth fills, consumes my soul, stronger with each passing second
growing for joy: beating in me, beating for love, beating for life.


The author's comments:
This is a small part of my real feelings towards certain parts of life. I think it's nice.
Also, Sijo poems are like haikus, except they originated in Korea, and they're a little longer.
