Unanswered Questions
When we are young we are free,
But we are too blind to see it.
We fight for this cause
Constantly struggling,
But in the end
We always had it.
When we are old we are wise,
But we are too stubborn to accept it.
We dwell on the past
In search for answers of what could be,
But in the end
We always knew it.
When we die we are enlightened,
But it is too late.
We spent our lives looking for a purpose,
But in the end we see life is the purpose.
We just never lived it.
