when you look at me
what do you see
do you see the prep
or do you see the slut
are you like most people
who pass me in the street
who see the child in me
and dont trust a thing i say
or are you one of thosre people
who actually understand me
and known exactly what im going through
cause if you are
then you know what its like
to be me
you know what its like to be teased
you know what its like to go home
and get yelled at
so if you know why im a teenager of fifteen
who drinks
who cuts herself
who smokes
just to hide the pain
if you know that then you know
that everyone expects me to be another statistic
a teenager sixteen years old pregnant
who was stupid for one night
and had a lot to pay for it
so with that i say
I WILL NOT BE ANOTHER STATISTIC!!
