Deep white skies full of fury
Ready to unleash its wrath of snow
Blanketing the skies with no sight of day
With the sun hidden from sight
Heavy clouds with a plentiful burden
Ready to sprinkle the earth with its substance
The little bits of frozen white falling
Hitting the earth with an icy silence
Winter skies keep you in at night
Keep you near any source of warmth
Wanting to cuddle close and rest
Forgetting about the frosty outlet
