I Have Me

I know where I came from.
I know who I am.
I know where I want to go.
A house of girls turning into women
sniping, loving, sharing,
strong spirits, hard heads, and big hearts.
A teenager, changing daily,
but always staying the same,
beautiful, strong, and loving.
Learning to adapt while keeping
who I am firmly in the center.
I have dreams I will strive for.
I have people I will love.
Goals that will be met.
I will build my own home.
In the end and through it all,
I have me, I have them.
