secret question

July 18, 2008

drink down the secret question
that your heart longs to voice
smile though you’re broken
embrace a selfless change

for every open window, porcelain
may pierce all present lies
and fresh air can clean up any smoke
you breathe in like perfumed poison

trust is like a stream desired in life
so kiss its rhythm
and remember always its warm breeze

wake to its word
then blind the blazing stars
to live in peace this time
with no haunting why

This was a poem written from magnetic poetry, where the words were limited. Thinking it didn't come out half bad, I decided to submit it here.
