Love Me a Little Less
You say you love me always,
You see the truth of the innocence on my face,
But you can’t visionalize me in sin,
Your whole picture would demolish,
And I don’t know what you would see then,
Love Me a Little Less,
Love Me a Little Less,
In my mind, I see your face,
And all you probably picture me
Doing is what I did and what I said.
Love Me a Little Less,
Love Me a Little Less,
I didn’t realize the shut door,
I looked down in a face that couldn’t find itself back in place,
Distorted in all kinds of ways,
I didn’t know what to say,
I should’ve apologized,
But I m made up of my insecurities, so I must lie.
Love Me a Little Less,
Love Me a Little Less,
My question of reality was my answer to get home,
I could believe what I heard,
So I preached what I would have done to get home.
Love Me a Little Less,
Love Me a Little Less,
I couldn’t look in your eyes,
The door couldn’t open fast enough,
I ran in the dark,
To take a little piece of pain out of your heart.
Love Me a Little Less,
Love Me a Little Less,
I cried in the shower,
Yes, I ran,
I ‘m a coward
I just needed to understand to see the death of a man,
A picture of you,
The definition of fast,
I thank you for sharing a little bit of your past,
I apologize for dwelling on the thought of the future than just learning and letting all hell of the past burn into ash.

The author's comments:
This poem was a release of concern when someone share something personal with me and I dwell on the past instead of seeing the moral of the story.I thought they should love me a little less for all that i caused, but they treated me like it never happen, like they love me always,no matter what.I believed that is the depth of forgiveness.
