The Boy

He sits next to me every day
That sad face
Full of pain and envy
He can’t help but cry
About nothing
But it’s always something
He must find something in me that he does not have
I don’t mind
It makes me feel special
He never talks to me with his mouth
But I can tell that he has something to say
So he talks with body
When the tears come poring down his face
I put my hand to his cheek
Wipe away the tears to make him stop
When he stops I can tell that he is embarrassed
But he can tell that I won’t let any comments get away
He know that he can find the comfort that he doesn’t get any where else
He knows that I will be always nice
I know that if he will ever talk with his words
I will talk with my words
Kind words
Soothing words
Words that will come out of my mouth like butter
But will taste like sugar
Nothing mean
Even if his words are mean
If only people new who he was then they would
Understand
Acknowledge the fact that the is human also
But till then he will be the boy that sis next to me every day
