A young Hero
A young black man who wasn’t afraid to stand tall,
Even if he knew he were going to fall,
Challenges, hardships, numerous tragedies
This young man had been through it all,
Nothing could break this man, the
Two words that stuck in mind were
I can, Succeeding was his only option,
For the spectators all they could do is
Watch him, He remained a brave
Hearted soul, even when he got
Bad news, or made the honor roll,
It was an odd bet that this young man was weak,
Only because he sometimes was so kind and
Sweet, A hero this young man had been named
For being alive, for taking some of the riskiest dives,
He is a hero for saving lives, for those who can’t speak,
Maybe even those who couldn’t think, he was an hero
For being brave and he would be named a hero until
The day he was laid to rest in his grave...
