Heartbeats and Hooves
I could never write a poem,
I could never write a speech,
But when I see a galloping horse,
My heart begins to beat,
My pen hits the paper,
Like his hoof hitting the ground,
The world is not here,
There is no other sound,
Just me and this creature,
So beautiful, so bright,
Such words can not be written,
To describe this sight,
Because when it comes to horses,
My pen won't write a line,
I'm too dazed staring,
Wishing that he might be mine,
I could never write a poem,
I could never write a speech,
But when I see a galloping horse,
My heart begins to beat…
