Shattered Lullaby

When every yesterday's the same
The girl's eyes were unfamiliar
But they refrained from casting blame

All caged behind your teeth
And the pretty lies are singing slow
In a choir underneath

So smile softly with twisted fingers
Another shattered lullaby
And try hard to convince yourself
The serenades no pick up line
