Solider, you stand tall.
Solider, you stand with pride.
Solider, you stand with courage.
You go to battle, war, with no fear.
Your head held high.
Fight for freedom, fight for life.
Solider, you love.
Solider, you miss.
Solider, you may seem so far away,
But in reality, it’s very close.
Apart but in your heart.
Solider, you wait.
Solider, you give.
Give your life for me to have mine.
But now it’s time for you,
To be loved, by another.
To be missed, by someone.
To be waited on,
No one but me.
