Waiting in Truth

Waiting,
Waiting at truth’s end.
Waiting for nothing to begin.
Waiting for time to pass through.
Waiting to hear your voice,
Waiting anxiously for a call from you.
My hearts one truth,
The signature of my youth,
You.

You,
Everything I’ve ever wanted and the sky.
Your eyes,
Dramatic yet kind,
Secret and silent,
Mysterious,
One of a kind.
Your smile sets my heart a glow.
Something you may never know.
Secrets…

The secrets of my heart are proud yet true.
My smile is a symbol of love to you.
My heart has many secrets,
They whisper soft like the wind,
Bright like the sun,
And Blue like the ocean too.
Things you never knew.
These secrets are rare in one so young,
And as true as the midnight stars we see.
These secrets I speak of can be described in words three.
“I love you.”
This is my hearts one secret truth.

The author's comments:
This poem was inspired by some one who meant the world to me. He never knew how I really felt, but he was always there when I needed someone. He was there for me until the end. This poem is everything he never knew, everything he lost. He lost me.
