Us and Them

Us and Them is how we organize.
We look for mistakes
And when we patronize
Everyone partakes.
And here is where I make my statement
Among the judgmental
And that is where they find betrayment
Which is hardly coincidental.
Living within the walls of a cage
Has never appealed to me
But living beneath our “Golden Age”
Is their only dream
And as the clock is ticking away
I look out the window and sigh.
When Us and Them have something to say
I might just reply.
