Birds calm after storms
As if nothing has happened
Denial I feel
Ignoring what I have seen
Wishing i never saw it

The cry of a child
The waves of pain and sorrow
Take over my soul
Remorse is my only friend
Waiting to be freed of pain

Enemies bleed red
As I take my final stand
To right what I've seen
