My tether clings, pulls me tighter
The clouds climb higher above,
And I want more.
I want feathers,
But the canvas will do under my frame,
Lift me!
Up to the blue!
It's just I up here,
Red tail alight, it wavers high,
And my kite alone sails through the blue sky.
