I Want to Love
I want to love
 Right now
 In this day and age.
I want to love so hard
that all that’s left is a blank page,
So I can fill it up with my words again.
 I want to love
 Right now,
 for everyone to see.
 I want to love,
 and laugh, and live,
 and just be free.
I want to love the sky and moon,
 the stars and the sun.
 And I want to love
But I want you to love me too,
To trust me to take the reins and run.
 I want to love,
to feel it bubble up inside
 of me, and
I want to see its smiling face,
And for my lock to be opened by its key.
I even want to love the hard work it takes
for you to love me back,
 And all I want
 is to love right now
 And never look back.
