The new truth
A place I call home,
where it's dark and no one can go. To hide from the world,
and escape the memories of that girl.
Isolated far from reach,
and to me washed away similar to bleach.
I go out in the light of the crack, only to go and sit right back. Although in that light is the one I love,
I see nothing more than a beautiful dove.
A carrier pigeon to send my message,
but only given doubt by my true blockage.
The person that made me so sick inside,
the one that made me nearly die.
I no longer stand for her,
clearly like an outstretched banner.
I now live for the truth,
one that can restore my youth.
The new her here to save my life, and now love can suffice.
