Everyday
Just another beginning
My daily inspiration
has slowly faded
Days dragging on - same exact thing
It seems as though I’m invisible
Only to exclude:
“What’s your answer?
“I forgot, can I borrow yours?”
“You are way smarter than me”
“You’re definitely a better athlete”
I’m gone when they don’t need anything
and conveniently
there when they do
And they say
We’re friends
