Poetry shouldn't rhyme.
At least, not every line.
Because when I read it,
I feel like I'm wasting my time.

When words sound the same
It gets kinda lame
And I feel like I might
Just go insane

Because people don't pay
Attention to what you say
They just think, 'Wow!
These words rhyme, I say!'

So if your poem has soul,
Make not rhyming your goal,
Or else everything you just wrote
Will go down the bowl.
